Sex offenders or any criminal convicted of a crime that live in State custody should not be allowed to participate in the Special Olympics. It is an outrage to see them be rewarded and praised. Sex offenders in state facilities are no different then offenders in county jails. I believe that all states should put a stop to this. The Special Olympics are for athletes, like my son, to compete and have fun. We as families should never have to worry that a level 3 sex offender has been granted a day out of the facility with a babysitter. They should not get a chance to enjoy looking at our son or daughter. Please help me put this petition to the top. We need to stop letting these offenders have rights!!
