Social Security benefits are designed to assist individuals and families with disabilities to rebuild their lives and take care of their basic needs. These benefits are funded by working taxpayers. People are manipulating the Social Security system by claiming to have a disability-either physical or mental and are savvy enough to know what to do and say to prove disability under Social Security's standards. MANY of these people are manipulating, lying criminals who are draining resources from law enforcement and the penal system!! They have no interest in rebuilding their lives and most often do NOT use Social Security benefits to care for their basic needs. Let's put a stop to this and require anyone currently receiving or applying for benefits to undergo a criminal background check!!!
