This petition calls for an independent investigation into the events before, during and after morning of 9/11/01. It is agreed by many Americans (including over 2,500 Firefighters, Architects and Engineers) that the 9/11 Commission Report failed in its stated objective of determining how 19 terrorists with boxcutters were able to hijack four airplanes while crashing two of them into the World Trade Center, thus resulting in the total collapse at free-fall speed of three (3) buildings - the North and South Towers, and Building 7, which was never hit by a plane. Building 7 is not discussed in the Report, nor is it explained why the Air Force failed to intercept the four off-course planes for 90 minutes. Therefore, no statue for Cheney in US Capitol until an independent investigation occurs.
