The Department of Justice should not, under any circumstances, interfere with the state constitutional amendments legalizing marijuana. Prohibition did not work for alcohol and is a total failure for marijuana. Legalization will undercut narcogangs the same way it did bootleggers. These States and the ones that will follow are showing a leadership, decidedly lacking in Washington. Marijuana should be move to a schedule 2 or 3 drug from it's current position as a schedule 1.
