The Name of this petition is Department of Social Service: Equality for the SNAP benefit. My issue is that having a drug conviction can withhold you from receiving SNAP benefits no matter the limitations you can be clean for 10+ years and still be ineligible but criminals as far as; Burglars, Rapist, Murders are still eligible for such benefits with no limitations. In order to receive (SNAPS) benefits with drug convictions you would have to had caught your conviction before 1996 in which if your born after 1986 your ineligible before you where even born.
