We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

The Department of Transportation (FAA) regulates all airspace in the U.S. not state and local governments.

Created by R.H. on September 08, 2016

There is a patchwork of state and local laws and ordinances that regulate the use of sUAS (drones). These laws and ordinances are in direct conflict with the Department of Transportation (FAA) authority to control all the airspace in the United States.

The proliferation of these laws and ordinances demands a definitive position to be taken by the federal government as to who holds the absolute authority over the airspace in the United States.

This petition aims to have the federal government send a clear message through the rule of law that state and local government have no place in establishing any control over the airspace of the United States.
