Department of Veterans Affair Health Administration Center Spina Bifida

Created by Y.M. on November 09, 2013

Hi:

I'm Yeisa M. Morales Rivera from Puerto Rico, but now I move to Washington DC. This is because on last year until this moment I had been in the middle of four spinal cord surgery also the one of spina bifida that I'm has when I born. This is part of my Dad, German F. Morales Ferrer was on Vietnam War exposure of orange agent. I want to have an appointment in any VA Hospital in DC, because I only have a friend who live here in WDC, USA, no family, with a neurology or neurosurgeon, but they doesn't want to register me because I'm not a Veteran. I visited three VA Hospital on last week and the Social Worker one of them and anyone in those Hospital doesn't knows about this Program. I thought VA have better doctors to attend me but it was so difficult. Also, they been so hostile with me.
