We strapped a plane to the side of a rocket. That rocket sent the plane into orbit around the planet we live on. The plane then was used to deploy over 50,000 pounds of payload. We then threw the plane into the atmosphere where it withstood temperatures of over 3000 degrees Fahrenheit. It then landed on a runway and repeated the process one hundred and thirty five times, building the International Space Station.
The Space Shuttle program is by far the most monumental accomplishment of the American people. We request that it be honored on the back of the 20 dollar bill.
