We the people petition the Commander-in-Chief to deploy the national guard to observe & protect civilian persons involved in the Occupy Wall Street & Occupy America.
The local police state is committing egregious civil rights abuses in several high profile cities around the United States. We request that a minimum of 8 national guardsmen under the command of an officer well versed in constitutional freedoms be deployed to each Occupy site inside the United States inside a population center of 200,000+ people. The role of the guardsmen will be an observer, and protector of freedoms.
Deploying national guardsmen at times of great civil unrest has worked well in the past, and if well directed should protect the citizens of this country as they exercise their right to protest.
