Deploy a Synthetic Fuel Energy Research Project

For this project, the administration would gather all interested scientists, engineers, and technical personnel from all scientific disciplines and house all of the participants in a complex to research and find a synthetic fuel that is enviromentally safe, effective, and economical to produce. This will be like the "Manhattan Project of synthetic fuel research." This may lead to finding a synthetic fuel in a very short period of time, say one or two years. A new fuel will create the jobs that come with the birth of a new industry. The jobs can come form manufacturing, distribution, car engineering, etc. The new technology can be used to supply the rest of the world with an alternative to present-day transportation. Lastly, this new technology can make our country energy independent.
