Deport British Citizen Piers Morgan for Attacking 2nd Amendment. Free speech not protected: Kleindienst v. Mandel (1972)

Created by N.W. on January 09, 2013

In response to prior petition response by Whitehouse Press Secretary Jim Carney that Piers Morgan's free speech and presence is protected (see: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/deport-british-citizen-piers-m...): it is factually incorrect therefore we reinstate our petition to have Piers Morgan deported.

A 1972 U.S. Supreme Court ruling that the U.S. Attorney General’s refusal to allow a foreign journalist into the United States did not violate the First Amendment. The case resulted from Nixon administration attorney general Richard Kleindienst’s refusal to grant a temporary nonimmigrant visa to Marxist Belgian journalist Ernest Mandel. Kleindienst v. Mandel (1972). See: http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/getcase.pl?court=us&vol=408&invol=753
