Last night our President once again touted an "all of the above" energy strategy and policy. That is not what we need. We need to develop a plan for the reduction of consumption of fossil fuels and conversion to renewable energy.
We need to start the Renewable Energy Revolution.
There are several key things we can do:
1. Insist Congress pass the FRAC Act
2. Public education program on climate change
3. Develop profit-sharing plan similar to the one in Alaska for fossil fuels taken from our national lands
4. Stop the $4 billion annual tax welfare entitlement to fossil fuel industry
5. Convert all schools & municipal buildings to renewable energy to save taxpayers billions every year & create revenue stream for our schools
6. Prepare a national strategic vision for energy
Time for change
