We need to deport Mayte Lara Ibarra for being an undocumented resident of this country, and deny her re-entry for one year. I applaud Mayte Lara Ibarra for her academic achievments, but her attitude toward her immigration status must be ammended. If we allow her to stay without serious action we are stating that it is ok to break the laws of this nation in regards to immigration. We need to act now, in this moment, to protect the integrity of our borders and not set a precedent for lax immigration policies. This country was founded on legal immigration, to allow this to stand is just an outrage to those who are citizens of this country.
