Senator Ted Cruz is emerging as the sole roadblock to passage to raising the debt ceiling. His insistence on a filibuster to require 60 votes for cloture on the bill is single handedly keeping us from being responsible with our national debt and budget. He also has failed to renounce his Canadian citizenship, which should be a very basic procedure. If Justin Bieber is deportable over his immature and irresponsible behavior, then Cruz should be as well in regards to his behavior actually being more destructive to the nation as a whole. If he wants to keep his Canadian citizenship, he should also take his act north of the 49th parallel too. This threat to our national finances has no room in the US, let alone the Senate.
