Zhao Weishan was the founder of Eastern Lightning, also called the Church of Almighty God. The Eastern Lightning, under the leadership of Zhao Weishan, has committed horrible crimes in China, and violated the human rights of many victims. They have been cited kidnapping, torturing, and brainwashing their victims into conversion. They reportedly broke the arms and legs, and even cut off ears of their victims. On May 28, 2014, six believers of the Eastern Lightening brutally attacked and beat to death a female victim at a McDonald's restaurant in Zhaoyuan , Shandong, China. Now this sect is regarded as an evil cult and a social cancer by majority of the Chinese people. We hope the US government won't protect Zhao Weishan, a ringleader of an evil cult which has committed many crimes.
