For those who are placed in a minority by society, they face many unacceptable conditions by hateful individuals. I identify within the LGBTQ community and have been discriminated against by peers, teachers, friends, even strangers. Thousands of unprivileged teens, children and adults are fighting depression from hateful words and opinions. For example, The Westboro Baptist Church use hateful posters and often protest at extremely inappropriate places, even going as far as creating signs like "God sent the Shooter" or protesting soldiers memorial services who identified within the LGBTQ community. They do have the right to their own opinion however hateful derogative words have no place in the public view, which inspires more violence and discrimination against those minorities.
