Instead of wasting money on countless worthless projects, we need to build some desalinization plants along the west coast and the gulf, and a pipeline(s) into the heartland, to provide fresh water for farmers and to drink; years of drought are coming according to a NASA Study and projections. We could even use the water as it crosses the mountains, as a hydroelectric energy source.
