DESIGATE INSPECTOR-INSTRUCTOR DUTY FOR THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS AS A SPECIAL DUTY ASSIGNMENT

Created by C.S. on January 25, 2013

Inspector-Instructor duty is usually a staff of 10 to 20 personnel not including the Reserve Marines. The staff has a responsibility to maintain all functional areas that an active duty battalion maintains, with maybe 10 percent of the personnel an active duty battalion staff would have. It is a taxing and difficult Independent Duty assignment that should be recognized as a Special Duty Assignment.
