Designate 24 December a National Day of Rememberance for victims of violence. We need a day for our nation to reflect.

This petition is submitted to make our whole nation aware of the victims of violence in our society. As recent events have shown, violence is not isolated, it is in our cities, rural areas, in our schools, places of worship, entertainment venues, and in our homes. Let us take a day to review policies that can begin to tackle this national onslaught.
