The 9/11 Memorial and Museum at Ground Zero in New York City needs to be designated a National Moment, so that the place will forever honor those who fell and were lost that terrible day.
As a National Memorial, it will always be freely accessible for families and friends to honor the fallen and guarantees that the place will be permanently preserved to commemorate those that were known to be lost and those that remain unidentified.
It will also ensure that our children and children's children visiting the Memorial Museum will be properly educated with accurate accounts of the lives lost and the tremendous sacrifices made the day that the World Trade Centers were attacked and destroyed, and in the days following.
