This country has numerous national symbols such as the Flag, the Great Seal of the United States, a National Bird, a National Mammal, a National Anthem, a National Motto, a National Floral Emblem, a National March, and a National Tree.
The AR-15 rifle is ubiquitous to the true meaning of the Second Amendment and therefore should reside in a place of honor along side the other treasured National Symbols.
Call on Congress to designate the AR-15 rifle as the true symbol of liberty that it is and designate it as the National Rifle of the United States of America - and declare that all citizens of this country, (not otherwise prevented by law) have the right to own the rifle for defense of self and for state.
