It is without great notice that our United States military needs to have a dedicated day of recognition, though, there currently is a month, dedicated to Military Appreciation. Having served now for 7 1/2 years in the US Navy, continuing a family tradition of military service and carrying on a tradition that our forefather's bestowed upon us, protecting the land of the free, I believe that we the people, should not let our military, past and present, go unrecognized.
I am also the project owner of Bands For Arms, which are Bracelets made from donated military uniforms that focuses on military recognition and support towards military non-profit organizations, www.shopb4a.com. Coordinating my project and Support The Troops Day would be such an honor to all military Veterans during May.
