We petition the President to decree by Executive Order that the first Tuesday of November of each election year will be fully recognized as a federal holiday. The intent of recognizing election day as a federal holiday is to further ensure that all eligible and duly registered voters are afforded every opportunity to participate in our election process regardless of employment status.
