This represented the pinnacle of human achievement, and demonstrated that the possibilities for mankind are limited only by what we can imagine and our will to make it so. A national holiday celebrating scientific advancement will serve to help focus our country on education and science, and serve as a beacon to guide us as we move forward towards even more daring goals.
