Since its inception, the U.S. has taken pride in being a leader, an example to other countries. Now is the time to show the world that the U.S. can not only exist, but thrive, without violence.
We can do this. Each town, each city, each metropolis, and each state working together, can make October 1, 2015 a day without violence in the U.S., and put the world on notice that it can be done.
