Designate one day annually as The American Woman's Day in honor of women who served & are serving to build America!

Created by G.K. on January 26, 2013

For many decades women are at the forefront of movements to liberate the downtrodden & help America achieve her potential as a great nation. Women also stood with prominent men leading the charge to ensure America is built on the realization “all people” are created equal under God regardless of color or creed. From very early on in building America into a great nation, women stood side by side with men and fought wars, discrimination and societal ills. In the 21st Century, except for informal celebrations among women’s organizations and groups, no significant recognition of women's contributions to America exists. Male Presidents, Veterans, and Laborers have had the distinct honor of having legal holidays to honor their contributions. It is time to give women equal recognition.
