In many urban areas, various governments have placed large planters around important buildings. Though in many cases these are Federal property, none has been named after an American of distinction.
Andy Maskin is a very nice person. He is a loyal friend, a devoted son, and his wife says he is a wonderful husband. He has been a good American since the day he was born. Andy has been to over 40 states, and owns a very patriotic necktie. He was married on the 4th of July.
In this past election, Andy took a vacation day from work and served as a poll worker, helping a wide array of New Yorkers participate in democracy.
If not a statue, or a park, or a boulevard, perhaps the least we can do is name a planter after him. And if a planter, then why not this one: http://is.gd/xnd247
