According to the Guardian, 3000 tons of chemical weapons are stored between Kentucky and Colorado. The U.S. promised to destroy these weapons by 2012. The latest estimates are that they will be destroyed by 2023.
We petition the Obama administration to commit to destroying these weapons by the end of 2013. If the administration can not do this, we petition the administration to turn over control of these chemical weapons to the United Nations.
