We must make a military commitment to finish what we have started in the middle east. Bipartisanship and political biases aside, ISIS poses a true threat to our safety at home and abroad.
With the massacres that have occurred throughout the United States in the past 15 years, it is readily apparent that it is not challenging or complicated for one man to enter, say, a school or a movie theatre and reap havoc.
We must take action and must defeat ISIS and similar groups. This is the Long War. This is not a simple problem. Our tragedy that happened 13 years ago in September may not have been expected; the threats that ISIS poses are in stark contrast. We all know what happened in Boston, and that was not as orchestrated as the attack on New York.
We absolutely must act militarily.
