The most insidious Executive power allows the President to read the emails and texts of any American and to listen to any phone call made in recent years by any American.
All of this data is stored in a massive National Security Agency (NSA) facility in Bluffdale, Utah. In the wake of the Edward Snowden disclosures, the Restore the Fourth Amendment movement tried to strip President Obama of the unconstitutional power to spy on Americans without a court warrant. These spy powers are too dangerous for a Democrat or for a Republican to wield. They are too dangerous for President Obama or President Trump to hold.
