Many victims of sexual violence are too scared to find help or consult others for fear of social exclusion or the possible negative effects in which this divulgence may subsequently result. The statute of limitations on such offenses should be obliterated in hopes of encouraging those affected to speak up and allow us to find the unpunished predators.
