The firearms policies throughout our country are confusing and unfair. If there are two good people who don't want to harm anyone, and they both love firearms and owning, maintaing, and target-shooting and/or hunting with firearms are their hobbies, why should the man from a more lenient firearms law state be able to own whatever he wants, but the man from a more controlled firearms law state only be alowed to own a very limited variety of firearms.
If every state had the same firearm laws as the leient states to many bad people could get their hands on firearms. Since states perform background checks on firearm purchasers already, the type of firearm somone can own should be based on their background check. This would keep the good men and women who love firearms happy
