Develop a 100 year National Water Plan to move water from where we have it to where we need it.

We need a 100 year National Water Plan to move water from places we have it to places where we need it. Water will become the new oil. We have plenty of fresh water in this country but it is always in the wrong spots. Our rivers dump trillions of gallons of water into the Atlantic Ocean each day. With global warming and glacial melt, the Atlantic Ocean is at risk of losing salinity which would shut down the thermohaline circulation (conveyor belt) which would be a disaster. By redirecting some of this fresh water west and creating a national water distribution system we could protect the country from severe drought; insure our food supply; and insure our future.
