School student security and safety is of highest priority. This petition calls for the legislation of a “National School Security and Defense Act” in which the requirements for enhanced school security measures, including the use of armed security personnel and plans of action in response to known or potential threats will be outlined. We call for the provisions of Federal and State funding be made immediately available for the requisite public and private school security enhancements necessary to meet the standards set forth in the Act. Therefore, we are calling for the foreign aid funds designated for terrorist lead Countries like Egypt, be redirected for American Schools security measures.
