We support “Occupy Wall Street”, and urge you to work toward to eliminating the excessive influence of corporate wealth over Federal policy development. Like you, we remember an era when the rising tide of economic growth truly did lift all boats in the United States – when the goals of eliminating poverty and creating opportunity for all Americans were national policy. This is no longer the case.
We urge you to do everything you can to support our renewed push toward real democracy. Let’s make this the moment in which the damaging momentum of unchecked corporate greed is stopped, and the interests of all people are once again acknowledged and addressed.
