Develop a bi-partisan set of morals and standards to promote across the country.

Created by K.M. on December 30, 2013

What does America stand for? With a nationally constructed set of beliefs, we'll all know and be accountable. It could be read like a Pledge of Allegiance, National Mission Statement, or even mantra. Input from both parties and citizens could form a framework that tells the world exactly who modern America is. The importance of this project can't be doubted. Americans have reported a record amount of dissatisfaction with the country's "moral decay". The shame in that is there isn't even a code to decay. America's great diversity and recent history of changing civil rights has kept it from strongly proclaiming modernized ethics for some time. That time's over. If we can't come together to agree on a shared set of beliefs as a country, we're no more than neighbors under a funny colored cloth
