Develop a directly democratic system to regulate & reduce internet service provider block/censoring and data collecting.

Created by Q.W. on July 27, 2013

Over the past decades, those of us who have lived our lives with the internet as a household name and seen access to it as a simple fact of life have seen it trampled on.

Starting as a tool for the free sharing of information in its inception, it has become a tool which is used to allow more people to say more things than ever before in history. However, that's not all; corporate interests and political theater have led to a virtual landscape of censorship, privacy invasions, and all of it with little to no citizen oversight.

It's time for internet access providers to be a common carrier, just like the postal system. They should be required to disclose what they block/censor and what data they collect- and both acts should be extremely limited by a from scratch DIRECTLY democratic system
