develop an expungement law for ALL states, so people can have the chance to right their wrongs, given a second chance.

Created by R.T. on March 20, 2012

Missouri does NOT have the ability to expunge your criminal record. When I was quite younger, I got into my share of trouble. Nothing violent, nor drugs or sex offenses. Simple stealing. Not being able to expunge my record, has cost me several jobs and providing for my family. Pretty much any other state, you can have your record expunged. This type of subject is never discussed among candidates. Everyone makes mistakes, give everyone a chance to redeem themselves.
Various governor's pardon murderers, rapists, etc.. Give people the chance to undo the wrongs they have done.
I am now 45, married, 4 kids and pay my taxes. I don't hide my mistakes from my kids, I hope they listen and don't make the mistakes I made.
