Even though there is a very narrow difference between beginning a school year a couple days before labor day or a couple days after labor day, many students and parents would debate that these couple of days can have a substantial impact on a students academic performance for that school year. With a vast amount of school systems pushing for earlier start dates as it is, students are finding that they have to put more effort into competing with each other as well as with themselves in order to ensure that they fulfill their academic goals.
By developing a law that enforces all school systems to begin their school year on the same calendar date, we will be creating an equal opportunity for all students to achieve academic success on the national level.
