develop a new faster form of clean long-distance travel, forcing us to innovate technologically, and create new jobs.

THis action would require us to create new, better, more efficient forms of long distance travel that would require the creation of countless labor job as well as many employed minds. this would not only reduce the cost of travel for Americans, but, like the car or airplane, give us a step ahead in the future of travel/transportation. Once again, countries would be buying American technology on a large scale.
