Develop a new petition for the public to suggest amendments to the Constitution with over 100 million signatures.

In the age of broad internet connectivity, it has never been more reasonable to allow citizens to vote DIRECTLY, or at least to petition en masse. By allowing a new form of petition - a "consensus check" which requires as few as 500,000 signatures or as much as one million - true U.S. sentiments will be demonstrated and our government will better represent the constituents. Ultimately, this could be used to provide evidence to overturn issues if they were truly opposed by a significant proportion of the population. Rulings like Citizen United or new legislature could be fought by citizens while they engage in governing themselves. Voter turn-outs are awful because the elections don't represent what common people want. Give us a chance to show the world who we truly are and what we want.
