develop a ocean water underground pipeline/purification system for the drought stricken lands to avoid future concerns.

Created by O.U. on August 11, 2012

The recent events of severe drought in the heartland
presumably caused by climate change must be taken
seriously as nature's signal of what may possibly occur
in the future. Avoidance of this event can be achieved,
take for example the proposed construction of the oil
pipeline from Canada to the midsection of our country.
Now, to preserve our food staples against the threat of
climate change/global warming, a similar construction
can be made but with water. Starting from the Gulf of
Mexico, a purification/desalination plant can be built in
Texas. From that point, one or more underground pipes
can be constructed to reach the drought stricken lands.
Yes, this may be costly, but the consumers will benefit
in the long term from not paying high food prices, &
we are solving future repeats.
