The Obama administration has promised to "develop policies based on science and research, not ideology or politics."
It is a concern that in many ways, the answers so far seen on "we the people" do not appear to reflect this promise.
Specifically, many have called for a legalization or schedule change for marijuana. The answer given appears more ideology based than science based. Nowhere in the answer was given any evidence as to the dangers of marijuana, only a statement that "it is dangerous". This is ideology and not science.
I call for reconsideration (and possible change) of the scheduling of ALL narcotic substances based on scientific understanding.
