develop a process for allowing Citizens to Amend the Constitution

Created by E.L. on January 15, 2013

That Congress and our political parties have the power to regulate themselves with little judicial oversight, and moreover, what oversight is used has led to excessive corporate money and lobbying in politics with no public input, and,
That the political parties operate with impunity in redistricting, campaign, election, and debate rules, to the exclusion of other parties and to the detriment of the political process, gave rise to 'safe' districts that foster ideology and obstruction over pragmatism, and,
as Congress ignores the laws of the people and sets special priviledges for itself,
We therefore believe it is necessary that the Public have the opportunity to Amend the Constitution, INDEPENDENT of Congress, in order that they might be forced to actually govern instead of bicker.
