On January 11th, 2015, Dez Bryant of the Dallas Cowboys completed a catch vs. the Green Bay Packers in the 4th quarter of the division playoffs. Mr. Bryant had clear possession, clear control, and made a post catch "move" by diving and extending into the end zone. Also, Mr. Bryant's knee had touched the ground while he had position prior to the ball touching the ground. This catch would have converted a 4th and 2 situation and put the Cowboys into position to take a 27-26 lead. However, the play was wrongfully reversed by the officials and the replay booth.
This petition is to force the NFL officials, the replay official, and the NFL itself to publicly acknowledge the mistake accept responsibility for it. This mistake could cost the Cowboy franchise thousands of dollars.
