US Should Correct Its Mistakes: Diaoyu Islands Belong to China and Help Okinawa to Get an Independence Referendum
More and more US and Chinese historians and newspaper columnists state that Diaoyu Islands belong to China instead of Japan, but the US government keeps ignoring the historians and historical evidence by refusing to admit that China has the sovereignty of Diaoyu Islands. Furthermore, to make things worse, the US government also supports Japan to govern Diaoyu Islands.
The US made a huge mistake by giving the sovereignty of Okinawa and Diaoyu Islands to Japan in 70s, so it is time for the US to correct its mistakes by stating that Diaoyu Islands belong to China and helping the Okinawa people to have an independence referendum.
