All health procedures, including minor and major surgery, simple procedures, medical supplies, time and labor prices should be published in and accessible format, so that all customers can tell in advance exactly what their medical prices will be.
This will allow the consumer to shop around for the cheapest price for a given procedure, and bring fairness to the medical profession.
When I go to the store, all prices are published, it should be no different at a doctors office or hospital. For too long, the medical profession has been able to get away with charging whatever they want, because there is no accountability. This would change all that, and bring accountability to medicine.
