direct the Attorney General to prosecute anyone assisting Al-Qaeda led Syrian rebels under 18 USC § 2339B.

Created by D.B. on September 11, 2013

18 USC § 2339B is very clear in its definition of a terrorist organization, and Al-Qaeda clearly is one.

Syrian-backed rebel factions are known to be affiliated with Al-Qaeda, a designated foreign terrorist organization. Any arms, weaponry, training, money, or other assistance provided to the Syrian rebels is, therefore, providing support to a foreign terrorist organization, a Federal crime.

The statute provides no exemptions for executive authority, covert operations, or other such loopholes.

We ask that the President direct the Attorney General of the United States to immediate seek out and prosecute any and all government officials involved in both the decision to provide support to these foreign terrorist organizations, as well as those who implemented such illegal directives.
