Direct the Attorney General to resolve well-evidenced concerns about the "broken covenant" of the federal civil service.

Created by J.C. on October 11, 2011

We contend that the prfimary purpose of the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978 - by which the President ensures that members of the federal civil service are adequately protected from reprisal, cronyism, discrimination and other types of "prohibited personnel practices (PPPs)," as they perform their duties in a trustworthy manner, per the "merit system principles" - has been nullified for 33 years, to America's great detriment.

We call upon Presiden Obama to ensure his administration is faithfully executing the laws by which feds are adequately protected from ALL types of PPPs, by tasking the Attorney General, via the Office of Legal Counsel of the Department of Justice, to issue opinions on 3 key, intertwined, civil service laws, as further detailed at the website www.broken-covenant.org.
