Direct Congress to create and pass Legislation to impose term limits on the Senate and House of Representatives.

Compel the present Congress to create and pass Legislation to limit the terms of Senators and Representatives to no more than 12 years cumulatively. Senators may serve 2 terms for a total of 12 years. Representatives may serve 6 terms for a total of 12 years. For split terms in the House and Senate an individual could serve one term as Senator and up to 3 terms as a Representative.
After serving their maximum term they should receive no retirement. They should then return to their former careers in the private sector.
The office of President is limited to two terms. These individuals should not be able to make their office a lifetime career.
